Head Veterinary Nurse
Kathryn
Kathryn is a highly experienced veterinary nurse with over 24 years in the profession. She completed her training in the UK and is registered as an Advanced Veterinary Nurse here in Western Australia. Kathryn has been a valued member of the team at Ellenbrook Animal Clinic for the past seven years, where she has built strong, lasting bonds with both patients and their owners. She thrives in the clinic’s close-knit, supportive environment and is passionate about delivering the highest standard of care. With a keen interest in anaesthesia and analgesia, Kathryn particularly enjoys working with hospital patients, ensuring they are comfortable, well-managed, and supported throughout their recovery. Known for her gentle approach and dedication, she plays a vital role in helping animals feel safe and cared for during their stay. Kathryn is proudly “terrier-mad” both at work and at home, with a special soft spot for these spirited companions. Outside of work, she enjoys camping with her family and spending time with her own little terrier, Freckles.

She has a strong passion in animal health and welfare, with a particular interest in advocating and supporting the recovery and rehoming of rescue animals. Admin Manager
Shannon
Shannon helps keep the clinic running smoothly from the comfort of his natural habitat: a well-behaved spreadsheet. While he leaves the medical magic to the vet team, he's the guy making sure invoices, paperwork and coffee supplies all stay on track. A keen animal lover, Shannon shares his home with two dogs and four cats. If you ever see him on a Zoom call, you can say hi to at least two of the cats.
